**Type of work**:
Our service users are individuals and they all deserve to be treated as such as a guide community home care is providing personal care to our service users in respectful and dignified way to meet their daily needs including bathing, washing, dressing, continence management, issuing medication, meal preparation, maintaining their health and wellbeing, domestic tasks and any other tasks required as part of their care plan. You will work as part of a team providing double & single care calls (working alongside another member of staff).

**Areas covered**:

- Fenton, Blurton, Longton, Weston Coyney, Meir, Blythe Bridge, Bucknall, Bentilee, Abbey Hulton, Newcastle, Hartshill and surrounding areas. All areas split into care runs to minimise travel time.

**Transport**:

- Must drive with a full UK driving licence and have access to a car.

**Shift Pattern**:

- Full-time or Part-time / permanent contracted hours available, call time and travel time paid at hourly rate, additional mileage paid 0.30p per mile.
- Shift times vary between: 15:00 - 22:00 / 16:00 - 22:00 as standard however these times do vary with each run. We are able to facilitate early shifts or noon shift patterns if you are unable to commit to working full days, contact us to discuss your availability and we will work with you to create a suitable shift pattern.
- Alternate weekends.

**What you will need**:

- Care experience or a passion to work in care as we provide a full induction and on-going training to support you within your role.
- Commitment to making a difference in the people's lives whom we provide a high standard of care and support for and the ability to provide hand's on personal care in way that is dignified and respectful.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Full driving licence and own car is essential due to the locations of some our calls.
