Role Overview
Inflation products play a crucial role in portfolio diversification and risk management strategies, particularly for investors seeking to preserve the real value of their assets in inflationary environments. Brokers may offer these products to clients as part of their investment advisory services or trading platforms, catering to investors' needs for inflation protection or exposure.
You do not require a degree for this opportunity but proven academia in mathematics is a pre-requisite either at GCSE’s and / or A-Level’s or equivalent qualification(s) are required.
Role Responsibilities- Promote TP ICAP group.- Ensure timely input of trades into trading systems.- Resolve any trade queries received internally and externally, and ensure any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.- Keep trade records up to date.- Update real-time electronic whiteboards with market data.- Provide input on various projects for brokers and traders.- Provide trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basis.- General administrative duties across the desk.- Monitor markets, keep up to date with financial news and geo-political events that impact the financial markets.
Experience / Competences
Essential- Proficient mathematics qualifications, either at GCSE and/ or A-Levels level is required as a minimum.- Keen interest in the financial markets and the economy.- Hard working and willingness to learn.- Build relationships and networks with both internally and externally wherever possible.
Desired- Recent school lever but would consider those looking for their next opportunity.- Handles situations and problems effectively using own initiate.- Demonstrates ability to work effectively with others.- Seeks opportunities for improvements.- Demonstrates high levels of energy in seeking out and achieving new goals.- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, can keep emotions under control in difficult situations.- Works ethically and shows respect for both professional and company values.
