**FREELANCE THERAPISTS FOR YOUTH-LED MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMME**

**Objective and Summary**:
We're building a community of therapists to support a community response to youth mental health needs. We've developed a youth-led programme to access mental health support. We co-designed an early intervention approach with communities on their terms, based on their current lived experience.

Since 2020, we have supported over 300 young people in the West Midlands from a diversity of backgrounds such as: Black and Minority Ethnic young people, youth offending/youth justice experience, witnessing/surviving domestic abuse, difficulty engaging in education/employment, LGBTQ+ identities, Looked After Children/Care Leavers, and more.

We are now looking for more therapists and mental health professionals to join Heal Hub to support future young people who want to access therapy.

**Who We’re Looking For**:
**Background**:We're looking to work with therapists from a range of ethnic minority backgrounds and experiences to help support the young people. Also, we welcome therapists from working class backgrounds and LGBTQ+ identities.

**Method**:We are interested in working with therapists from a range of modalities, but are particularly interested in CBT, Art-Based / Creative Therapies, or integrative therapy.

**Experience**:We value those with experience with secondary school aged children and young adults from a diversity of lived experiences. We’re looking for those with experience working with complex cases, including the management of safeguarding concerns and risk. We ask that you have at least 2 years experience post qualification and are registered with an accredited body, such as BACP or HCPC.

**Location**:We value those who can offer face-to-face sessions in the Black Country and Birmingham. We do offer online support, so welcome interest from across the country.
