**Mywaste Group - A Yorkshire based recycling and waste management company has a position for a General Operative**

**Working as part of the Team, the successful General Operative will support the business and the Management team with a range of duties.**
- Perform general labour tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with loading and unloading materials or products
- Operate machinery and equipment as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting materials
- Effective communication skills to work well with team members

Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

**Hours**:7:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday and every Third Saturday 07:00am - 13:00pm**

**Rate of Pay**:£10.00 -£13.00 per hour dependant on experience & age**

**Holiday Allowance**:30 days pro rata and increasing to 35 days after 5 years’ service.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
