**Position**:Head of Scientific Resarch
**Sector**:Electrical energy storage systems, batteries, supercapacitors, chemistry
**Location**:Cambridgeshire
**Salary**:£70,000-£100,000 according to experience
**Requirements:
- **
- Previous experience of leading science based research teams, ideally in a chemistry / physics environment
- You **MUST** have the right to work in the UK. We **cannot** offer sponsorship and people without the right to work will not be considered.
- All applicants will be required to provide proof of major qualificiations along with the right to work in the UK as part of the recruitment process
**About You**:
- Industrial experience - **this is essential. We cannot consider people who only have experience in an academic environment.**:
- Experience of science driven research and development in an industrial environment
- Previous experience in a R & D environment in an electrical energy storage, supercapacitor, battery or similar environment - this is essential
- Patent experience is beneficial
- Experience of developing partnerships within the energy storage, supercapacitor, battery or similar environment
- A natural leader and motivator, experience of leading research teams
- Have a high regard for health and safety and for appropriate housekeeping
- Not happy to accept the status quo, always wanting to push the boundaries of what is deemed acceptable or possible
