My client is a world-renowned packaging company and is a leading provider of corrugated packaging within the UK and are seeking a Maintenance Engineer from either a mechanical or electrical background.

**Maintenance Engineer

**£35,000 - £43,000 plus OT**

**Weston Super Mare**

The Maintenance Engineer, will be dealing with installs, fault finding, breakdowns and general maintenance of their packaging equipment, which includes Casemakers, Gluers, Colour Printers and Die Cutters. This is a great opportunity for an engineer to puttheir own stamp on the company as well as working in a fast paced and growing environment.

**Responsibilities include**
- Dealing with a great number of mechanical issues with machinery
- Some electrical fault-finding works
- You will effectively lead and service and repair the machinery equipment & assets. You will be required to work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic,
- Having further experience of dealing with invertors, relays, AC & DC motor Drives.
- Experience of corrugated packaging machinery or similar is a major advantage
- Commissioning of new machinery Breakdowns, service & installation
- Must be comfortable with big machinery.
- Company is big on customer service, experience with dealing with clients and suppliers.

**Essential**:

- Strong customer service skills
- 2+ years’ experience in packaging or related industry
- Strong mechanical background with some electrical experience.
- A related qualification in mechanical engineering or similar
- City & Guilds experience is welcome

Our client is offering a salary reflecting experience with Overtime which could earn you up to £50 - 55k plus, company bonus scheme, 25 days holidays plus bank and Private Pension
