**Bristol Auction Rooms**, trading as **BCVA**, is part of the **Vernon Fox Group**. We sell consumer and commercial assets across the United Kingdom for a variety of sellers. Products sold include Homewares, Transport, Electrical Items, Fashion and Sports and Accessories, Garden products, Laptops and Computers, Industrial items and many more.

We conduct online and physical sales from our Bristol location, and also use familiar platforms like Amazon and eBay and other online sales portals aimed at trade buyers, and through our high-street retail stores.

Our sales items include seized goods, lost and abandoned parcels and packages, overstocks, customer returns, and insolvent and bankrupt stock.

**Job description**

Continuous expansion of our Auction and Retail Sales businesses has seen us expand to multiple locations, and we now operate warehouses in Bristol, Folkestone, Rugby and Milton Keynes, and high street shops in Ipswich and Burton-on-Trent.

An **Auction Warehouse Assistant **is required for our **Bristol **warehouse with an immediate start, and the job role includes:

- Cataloguing and describing items;
- Assessing stock for suitability to sell and determining the most efficient platform to generate the best return - eg. Amazon, eBay, online auction etc;
- Photographing and barcoding stock;
- Managing stock into racking, pallets and crates;
- Post-sale activity including payment/dispatch of goods;
- Customer interaction;
- Test, check and disassemble consumer electrical equipment (Laptops, Phones etc).

**Requirements**:

- Good English Language Skills;
- Good general IT skills including Google Sheets, Excel or similar;
- Familiarity with Google Search;
- Able to follow instructions and work efficiently;
- Good customer service skills and team-player;
- Health and Safety conscious;
- Honest and trustworthy;
- Knowledge and experience with electrical equipment would be desirable.

**Things to be aware of**:

- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 30kg) and moving pallet trucks;
- Working on ladders and using lifting equipment (training provided);
- You will be required to undertake a DBS (CRB) check (paid for by us).
- Hours of Work - Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £22,425.00 per year
