Graduate Software Engineer - Reporting to the Senior Software Engineer - £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
The One Group are delighted to be partnering with an organisation who are developing the next generation of medical diagnostic tools and laboratory imaging systems.

Our client's products will enable huge advancements in the field of low cost, high throughput, diagnostics and dramatically reduce the cost and time associated with the discovery of new drugs.

This software engineering role is based in Cambridgeshire where you'll be part of the team developing their products' control and automation software.
You will be a great fit if you:

- Are enthusiastic about software quality, writing well-structured, testable, and maintainable code
- Have knowledge of user interface design and evaluation methodologies, and/or cloud storage systems, remote access technologies and cyber security
- Enjoy working both individually and as part of a small team developing elegant solutions to complex problems
- Have a desire to work in the regulated field of medical device software development
Required qualification and skills:

- High 2:1 or 1st degree in Computer Science
- Ability to write good quality code in compiled languages like C++ and Go
- Experience in software development for embedded systems
- Experience in object-oriented design
- An understanding of multi-process systems design
- Good team working and communication skills
- A desire to continue to learn and grow along with the company
