**Graduate Software Engineer - Remote Working
- Salary is£25,000 to £30,000 pa with Training & Personal Development Plus Benefits**

Available through promotion, this hugely successful international FinTech corporate continues to expand its IT software engineering team in the UK with the addition of this Graduate Software Engineer.

As an IT or Computing related Graduate, you will be joining a quality software focused organisation with a technology & Cloud first approach. With their planned induction process designed to build & elevate the skills you've gained through your Degree, theGraduate Software Engineer will work closely with allocated Buddies and receive on the job training & experience including pair programming exercises.

Utilising your interest & passion for software development & engineering together with your thirst to continue to learn & grow, you will be keen to develop your knowledge & experience across the full SDLC including design, development and testing of new& existing systems, products & services for the company's UK & international client base.

With the team working remotely from across the UK, the Graduate Software Engineer can be assured that the Team works hard to ensure everyone is engaged & feels a valued part of the software engineering function. The team does get together once or twice aquarter and alternates the meetings between their office in the West Midlands their Yorkshire site.

The role offers training & growth across software development, software engineering & technical support, the Graduate Software Engineer will need to demonstrate 4 key attributes to join & thrive in this supportive engineering environment:

- A deep interest in programming & software engineering, which can be evidenced through your current or previous work experience or University Degree.
- A passion for software coding and the drive to make it your career.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team so you can expand your learning & understanding under the guidance, pair programming and mentorship of experienced Software Engineers.
- A Self-Starter with a positive approach to your work & the opportunities to learn & master new technologies.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

- Some experience of programming or software engineering ideally in SQL, Python, Perl, Fourjs Genero BDL or similar languages, with the desire to learn others.
- Some experience with Relational Databases such as SQL Server, Informix, Oracle etc is useful as is knowledge of Linux although this can be taught.
- An understanding of Agile/SCRUM processes.

Other useful skills for the Graduate Software Engineer to have but can be trained, include:

- UML
- Some understanding of Automated testing and testing driven development
- Webservices
- A basic understanding of Architecture, Cloud ie. Azure DevOps & Data Storage
