We have an exciting opportunity for an **experienced Social Care Manager** to join a Glenrothes housing support service as **a Service Manager on a fixed-term (3 month) basis** and provide management support throughout this period of change.

With good link to the local area, this modest service currently provides a small number of residents with physical and sensory disabilities with the focused support they need to live as independently as possible and stay active within the community.

As a **Temporary Service Manager,** you will oversee the running of the service, using your outstanding abilities to manage finances, negotiate with stakeholders, and implement best employment practice to ensure the optimum delivery of clinicaland personal support that meets the needs of the residents.

The service itself comes under the umbrella of a nationwide charity that is dedicated to building a more disability-inclusive society, offering supported living, therapy suite, youth centre and other social services to support the independence and well-beingof individuals with all manners of disability.

This is a **3-month contract** for a **full-time**(35h/week) **Temporary Service Manager**of a supported living service.

**Person specification**:
As you will be leading a supported living service, you **must** have:

- A background in Supported Living Care.
- Prior experience in managing a social care facility.
- Evidence of professional development at a manager level - such as SVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
