What will my role look like?

Our Transactional Finance Team is expanding and we have an exciting opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Clerk In this role you will be part of the Accounts Payable Team and responsible for ensuring accurate and timely posting and payment of invoices.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their finance career within a successful organisation.

What would my main responsibilities be?
- Reconciliation, Payments and Controls (RPC)
- Pre-disbursement controls
- Payment generation - review daily payment proposal and executing payment file to bank
- Direct Debit monitoring
- Balance sheet account reconciliation
- Preparation of monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Monitoring of month end activities for accounts payable
- Invoice Entry (IE)
- Posting invoices / credit notes per business requests and ensuring they are coded correctly in the accounting system
- Vendor master database maintenance
- Pro-active management of supplier accounts and monitoring of ageing
- Communicating and liaising with suppliers to resolve any invoicing, payment or other queries
- Release of payment files, manual ad hoc payments
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required
- Support to clients, vendors
- Communicating and liaising with suppliers to resolve any invoicing, payment or other queries
- Cooperation with other departments
- Liaising with the broader finance team and Team Leader to provide regular updated on daily/weekly and Monthly activities

Do I have what it takes?
- Finance / Accounting Qualification or experience
- Fluent in Dutch
- Attention to detail & accuracy
