**The opportunity**:
Following the recent announcement of MBDA investment in the LAND PRECISION FIRES FAMILY, a number of key roles have been identified to drive forward the technical delivery of these programmes. MBDA are looking for individuals who are able to contribute to immediate delivery of solutions for Domestic and Export customers, operating in the Land and Maritime Domains, based on our Brimstone and future Precision Effect Weapons.

**What we're looking for from you**:
Someone who can demonstrate an ability to:

- Manage the technical status and progression of assigned work packages, including pre-contract biding, on-contract completion and complementary MBDA funded research and development
- Deliver the Firing Unit and Electronic equipment solutions for Surface Launch Brimstone products, working closely with national and international design authorities.
- Understand the technical capability required for safety standards, including how the user will interact with any platform specific safety controls
- Develop assurance evidence for the Electronic Subsystems to support system level certification of the Weapon System for trials or delivery
- Facilitate the exchange of technical information from the Equipment Design Authority and assess as required against the emerging requirement specification, especially the constraints around platform power supplies
- Contribute and own the roadmap for the development of a common product line electronics architecture for Surface Launched Brimstone
- Be the Domain Lead for EMC and Testability activities
- Ensure that Modularity and Reuse strategies through Generic System Architecture Technical Standards reflect the emerging design solution; and using the MBDA technical expert resources to maximum effect
- Ensure coherency across Future System launcher designs that are emergent in design but present opportunity for modularity and re-use, including management of associated internal research and development activities

This role is a rare opportunity to gain parallel experience in all phases of product lifecycle management; with an opportunity to continue through to in-service. You will also be working within an international context, expanding your engineering experience and network; including the exploration of offset capability in our partner nations
