Care Assistant

**Excellent Rates of Pay**:£13.15 per hour minimum + mileage (£14.00 after 7pm weekdays and at all times during weekends - enhanced rates during bank holidays).

**Care Assistant**:No experience necessary, full training provided in our Gillingham office.

**Hours per week**:Flexible 2 to 3 mornings or evenings per week or more **(**plus every other weekend**) - You choose your days**

**Location**:Chatham, Gillingham, Rochester, Chatham and surrounding areas - _(our intention is to keep you close to your local area within Medway, Kent) however you _**_must be prepared to travel anywhere in the Medway Towns._**

Our clients lead busy lives and place a great deal of trust in us to take care of their loved ones. For these reasons and as you would expect, it is important to us that each member of our team is:

- Caring

In addition to the above, we require our team to:

- Live in Medway
- Have a full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
- Have access to your own vehicle
- Be able to work evenings and alternate weekends
- Be prepared to go through our 3-day induction training at our Gillingham office

**I like what I've read,** but what tasks will I actually do?**

Our clients depend on our team of dedicated CareGivers to help and support them with the activities of daily living in their own homes. Typical tasks include:

- Companionship (hobbies, trips out, shopping etc)
- Medication assistance
- Personal care (mínimal assistance is all that is sometimes needed)
- Assisting clients living with Dementia
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
