We are looking for Support Workers in our residential service in Clayton le Moors. You will be part of a network of experienced colleagues, developing autism and person centred specific approaches, enabling individuals to live independently and to lead the life they choose.
We currently support five people to promote their independence including personal care, healthcare appointments and meaningful social activity. The role can be challenging so patience and empathy are key. But as a support worker, the rewards can be so much bigger than the challenges. You will support with all aspects of daily living including social based activities. You really will make a positive difference to people’s lives.
You’ll be joining our team, both locally and nationally and we’ll support you every step of the way.
We need you to be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people. Being a support worker takes bravery, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.
You may have a personal connection, a desire to work with or real life experiences working with autistic people. You might not have lots of experience yet, but if you share our values and are willing to make a difference to the lives of autistic people, we’d love to hear from you.

Working hours: 37 hours per week; Your working pattern will be over seven days and could include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. All shifts are across all 7 days of the week, 365 day a year.
**Salary**: £10 per hour; £10.50 for additional hours over 37.
Casual (Bank) posts also available - £10 an hour
