**Vigilant Security** has a new vacancy for an Operations Supervisor, to join our busy head office based in Dumfries.

This opportunity is a result of continued growth and success of our business, which is fast becoming one of the leading brands within our sector.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a flair for leadership and a commitment to processes and customer service.

**What We Offer**:

- Pay rate of £13.25 per hour with an increase in October.
- Full training in Vigilant’s services and processes.
- 4 on 4 off nights on a permanent contract. Plenty of opportunity for overtime.

- Full clean UK Driving licence essential
- A good understanding of Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in the English language
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- To be part of team planning and helping with Events

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Managing and supervising operations staff and rosters of key areas
- Administer electronic time and attendance system
- Monitor patrol equipment and performance
- Key holding and alarm response
- Participate and advise in development of staff and strategic planning
- Monitor and oversee contingency planning of manpower
- To manage personnel in line with company Health & Safety procedures
- Collect, disseminate and distribute to operational managers, all information regarding operational issues, which require immediate attention. Expedite follow up action as required to resolve such problems
- Driving duties will be required
- Addressing and dealing with complaints
- Coordinates with other departments to integrate and update all data required for internal systems and processes
- Ensure staff hours are manged in line with the European working time directive
