We are currently seeking a high calibre individual to join the team in the role of FX Options Middle Office Associate

This role sits within the FX & PM (Precious Metals) Options and Commodities function in London.

The primary purpose of this role will be to support the trading desk and ensure the smooth running of the FX & Precious Metals Derivatives Middle Office function.

The successful applicant will enjoy being part of a highly dynamic and lively team where you will gain exposure to the front office function and multiple business lines.

In this role, you will:

- Carry out timely deal capture, trade amendments, novation’s, cancels and lifecycle events
- Act as a liaison between FO and all support functions to ensure smooth running of the day-to-day business whilst identifying any enhancements to current processes
- Creating efficient tools to monitor past losses and ensure past actions are resolved, looking for trends/repeat losses and effective steps to mitigate these
- Key control monitoring, remediation where appropriate and identifying process improvements
- Ad hoc testing of new products and systems
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following:

- Proven knowledge of Options is paramount with FX specific Options knowledge being highly preferable.
- Demonstratable understanding of Front to Back trade flow and the trade lifecycle
- Ability to pick up new processes quickly and identify improvements in processes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate whilst being able to effectively prioritise
- Market Securities Services knowledge with past exposure to the primary trading system Murex would be advantageous
