We're looking for a hands-on, passionate & energetic Front of House Supervisor to join our growing company & experienced existing team.

**Supervisor - Front of House**

**Role**:Full-time (30 - 40 hours)

**Pay**: £11.75 per hour

**Reports To**: Restaurant Manager

**Job Overview**:

- Help to ensure the smooth running of front of house area: from takeaway till to restaurant pass
- Issue instructions in preparing, cooking and portioning well-prepared meals
- Overseeing food pass and ensuring standards are met at all times.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Able to manage the Front of House team and plan duties according to demand
- Assist front of house team with training and service
- Liaise with Restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth service
- Undertake checks on food standards
- Ensure stock levels are well maintained
- Read food orders and portion, plate and bag food for Restaurant, Takeaway and Deliveroo sales.
- Maintain a clean and orderly front of house area
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly & no cross contamination exists.
- Comply with sanitation & hygiene guidelines
- Escalate any customer, HSE, staff or other issues to the manager where appropriate for resolution

**Skills needed OR willing to learn**:

- Proven experience in front of house role
- Proven experience in a leadership position or in a senior role.
- Able to follow set procedures and menus
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a restaurant (HACCP, COSHH, fire safety etc)
- Able to operate and maintain basic equipment & utensils
- Knowledge of food service in busy environment - in-house and takeaway
- A strong team player with good communication skills
- Confidence to engage with customers when preparing meals or over the phone
- Availability to work different shifts, including weekends if required
- Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
