**About the role**:
The co-ordinator will work to support learners who face substantial barriers to education, including learners with special educational needs. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the EHCP processes for learners with SEN within the local area and collaborate with external agencies to support the transition of students into the College offer. The role will include working with faculty staff to raise awareness of disability as required.
**What do you need to be a successful EHCP Co-ordinator?**
As the EHCP co-ordinator, you will be a highly organised, have excellent admin skills with the ability to collate information, summarise and develop support/action plans and experience and/or knowledge of specific barriers to learning to advise on reasonable adjustments and strategies to support students with additional needs.
**About you**:
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent in English Language, Sociology, Psychology, or similar
- Specialist SEND qualification
- Previous experience of working within an FE setting, particularly working with LLDD students
- Strong communication skills; building and maintaining relationships
