Baker/confectioner

The Cranbrook Bakery is looking to recruit a full-time baker/confectioner.

As a baker/confectioner you will be working towards producing the highest-quality baked goods and working amongst a team who strive to give their best performance.

Your duties will include the following: preparation of ingredients, mixing, baking, finishing for cakes, packing, and maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the bakery.

We supply baked goods to surrounding farm shops and our own two shops, you will be expected to work mainly with cakes and confectionery.

We are looking for a strong team-player with a passion in baking. Previous experience working in a bakery on mixers, moulders and deck ovens is preferred.

The working hours will be based on 40 per week, with 28 days holiday (including bank holidays). This is a flexible role based on an eight hour shift, the shift will normally start at 2am.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cranbrook: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Baking: 1 year (preferred)
