We are looking for a Junior C#/Python Developer to join the team in the London office, supporting the Gas, Power and Dry Bulk trading desks. This is genuine opportunity to interact with the trading team, learn about the business and to be innovative withyour problem solving and delivery.

**As C#/Python Developer your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
- You will also ensure the integrity of the underlying data by maintaining, testing and extending date gathering services, taking the lead in a data quality / verification initiative
- Support traders and analysts with their development queries and script writing
- Assist with database design and understand alternative options for data storage
- Work closely with front office teams, develop an understanding of their requirements, and deliver maintainable robust and performant solutions
- Able to work autonomously on designated activities
- Proactively support other members of the development team with issues and workload balance, and vice versa leveraging the global team for expertise and assistance
- Bring any modern development, devops, architectural approaches to the team
- A genuine interest in development frameworks, design patterns and programming languages

**REQUIRED SKILLS:

- SQL SERVER
- JSON & XML
- HTTP
- TDD and Unit testing
- Full life cycle development
- Excellent Communication skills

- Multi-threading & asynchronous programming

- Built RESTful Web APIs
