Are you an experienced Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef looking for the next exciting challenge? I am currently recruiting at a well-known, new opening within a hotel restaurant who are looking for a Sous Chef to join their team.
As Sous Chef, your main duties will include -
- Deputies in absence of the head chef
- Control and manage stock
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
- Training staff, and developing members of you brigade
- Helping the head chef to develop new dishes and menus
- Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Responsible for ordering on the head chefs’ days off

The ideal Sous Chef will
- Have experience in a similar position or looking for the next step up in their career
- Be able to work well under pressure
- Be a good leader that can build rapport with team
- Be motivated and reliable

As Sous Chef, you will be expected to be flexible with shift patterns, will be paid £30,000 per annum plus a number of exceptional benefits.
