To understand roles and responsibilities around safeguarding all learners. **Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**: Essential: - Educated to Level 6 e.g. Degree or equivalent in related degree - Successful recent previous teaching experience with 16-18 year olds - Excellent computer literacy - ability to use the current IT programs of the College - Proven relevant experience of curriculum planning, development & delivery - Knowledge and understanding gained from previous experience in delivering the BTEC and/or A level specifications (Psychology/Sociology) - Engaged and passionate about Continuing Professional Development. - Minimum of Level 2 Literacy/Numeracy. - High level of communication and interpersonal skills, an effective member of a team - Ability to set high standards for students, colleagues and for themselves - Strong understanding of the importance and impact of feedback on learner performance - Outstanding teacher who is student centred Desirable: - Experience and understanding of ALPS and value added as progress measures - Good understanding of curriculum development to meet the training needs of employers - .
