OMNI Heat and Power Ltd design, develop and deliver a wide range of innovative and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK, in both commercial and domestic settings.
OMNI Heat & Power are currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Coordinator to support our Electrical design department in carrying out the growing workload in managing multiple Renewable Energy projects.
The Electrical Project Coordinator will provide direct assistance to the Electrical Design department in all duties from project inception to completion.
The role is to perform tasks that smooth the operations of the Electrical design department making it more efficient.
**ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
Will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the Electrical design department with purchasing, tech support, organizing of documentation and projects.
- Assist in the development of project plans to guide staff and project teams and revising where necessary.
- Assist in compiling and submitting project status reports to management and stakeholders.
- Various administration duties as set by the Electrical design Manager, this would include the following plus more:
- Completion of DNO Applications.
- Purchasing and finding the best prices for materials based on provided BOMs.
- Assisting onsite engineers with bookings of hotels and annual leave.
**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- The ability to use Project Management software such as Zoho Projects.
- The ability to use analysis and communication software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge in the electrical field including design
- Knowledge of electrical equipment and components
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent organization skills
- The ability to perform well both in a team and as an individual
- The Ability to communicate effectively on all levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to take initiative without constant guidance
- Teachable and able to listen effectively
- A willingness to tackle challenges and problem-solve
- A goal-oriented mindset
- Great attention to detail
**QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED**
- 18th addition wiring regulations or previous regs
**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Right to work in the UK
