This Science Graduate Teaching Assistant role is perfect for recent Physics, Biology, or Chemistry Graduates with some form of recent experience working with young people, and have aspirations of completing teacher training in the future. Recent experience working with young people could take many forms, from tuition work, youth work, overseas teaching, volunteer work etc.
Starting in September, this Science Graduate role will be full time Monday to Friday. Based in central Slough, this school has strong public transport links. Most recently rated ‘Oustanding’ by Ofsted, the senior leadership team have a long history of supporting Graduates embarking on a career in teaching.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals who are eager to train and develop you as an aspiring teacher. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience actively planning, delivering, and assessing lessons. Successful applicants who establish themselves well in the school will be offered the schools direct option for teacher training.
