Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience working with SEN?
Do you enjoy working with students with additional needs but don't want to work in a special school?
**About the role**
You will be working with Primary students with special educational needs within a mainstream school's SEN provision. These may include communication and interaction, behaviour, sensory and/or physical needs and social and emotional health issues. Studentsat the school are quite capable in their abilities to engage with lessons and peers however may need interventions in specific areas so receive these within the provision as well as spending some of their time in a mainstream classroom. You will be workingalongside the class teacher and another teaching assistant within the provision helping students to engage in lessons and carrying out interventions in speech and language, behaviour and interaction when required.
**About the school**
This is a mixed mainstream primary school based in Southall in Ealing.. They have an Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) for Complex Learning Difficulties; including ASD, SLCN & SpLD. The students have adapted resources as well as additional adult supportto enable them to access the curriculum as well as having support assistants hwo encourage integration with peers across the mainstream school. The school also has a number of resources specifically adapted for students with additional needs including lifts,sensory rooms and safe kitchens for learning home skills where you may help students learn independence in skills such as cooking.
This school has a warm and friendly environment with a supportive senior leadership team so is a happy place to work for all.
