**Do you have a passion for excellent customer service and enjoy working with animals?**:
Rowe Veterinary Group are looking for a receptionist to join our busy and friendly practice in Yate. Rowe Vet Group are based in the South West with branches in Wotton, Brimsham, Thornbury, Winterbourne and a 24 hour hospital in Bradley Stoke. As a valued member of the reception team you will be the first point of contact for pets and their owners.
- Your duties_
- Greet clients and their pets in a professional and courteous manner
- Book, cancel, and change appointments
- Advise clients on preventative healthcare products and promote Pet Healthcare Plans and pet insurance
- Dispense medications and prescriptions
- Take payments, cash up, and perform all other general admin and reception duties

**More about you**:

- Minimum of 1 year office-based experience
- Good level of education (minimum 5 GCSEs Grade C or above)
- Reliable with excellent time management skills
- Professional and caring telephone manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- High attention to detail

**Your shift pattern**:

- Role 1:

- Tuesday - 2:30 pm - 7:30 pm
- Wednesday - 2:30 pm - 7:30 pm
- Thursday - 8 am - 2 pm
- Friday - 1 pm - 7pm
- Participation in the weekend rota on a 1:4 basis - total of 24 hours per week
- Role 2:

- Monday 8 am - 5 pm
- Friday 10 am - 7 pm
- Participation in the weekend rota on a 1:4 basis - total of 18 hours per week.
