We're looking for Software Testers who are sharp and solutions-focused youll bring bold ideas when collaborating with our expert development team, ensuring that our technology remains industry-leading and cutting-edge. Youll be adaptable and creative, as well as enthusiastic to grapple new problems across our tech-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

As a Software Tester at BW Legal, your role is integral to the creation of the software systems and technical products used by our colleagues and customers. Working within a team of developers, you will ensure that the software released is bug free and fit for purpose, as well as engage in reporting bugs and validating that fixes have been applied successfully. In addition, you will also have the exciting opportunity to investigate and promote new testing tools and attempt automated testing.

**What youll be doing**:

- Ensure developed software meets specified requirements through testing
- Manual and automated testing of newly developed features
- Uncovering bugs in existing solutions
- Write clear and concise bugs reports
- Engage with developers to expedite bug fixes
- Promote new tools and practices
**We ask you to have the following skills and experience**:

- Commercial software testing experience
- Strong API and Website testing experience
- Strong ability to interpret and understand user stories
- Willing to investigate and promote new strategies and technologies
- Understanding of a variety of testing methodologies
- Able to write test plans and test scripts
- Familiar with agile methodologies
- Familiar with or willing to learn selenium IDE
- Automation testing experience would be desirable but not required

Your working week will be 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday. You can choose to work either 8am 2pm, 9am 3pm or 10am 4pm, giving you a great work-life balance.

With a starting salary of between £29,000-£35,000 depending on experience, Software Testers enjoy regular performance based reviews which reward their success with a clear progression path for future earnings.
