Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering with a leading public sector organisation based in the heart of Dundee to recruit a Business Finance Support Officer on a permanent, full time basis. Working as a key member of the finance department, which plays a pivotal role in managing the University's financial affairs, you will be housed within the Finance Business Partnering Team.

In a role which involves collaborating closely with stakeholders across multi functions you will play a pivotal role in assisting with reporting and enhancing existing systems to meet internal and external requirements. On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:

- Liaise with budget holders for budget and forecast preparation, addressing inquiries and coding queries.
- Process journals, ensuring deadlines are met, and assist in the year-end process.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, investigating any anomalies.
- Monitor various projects and contracts across the organisation, ensuring timely invoicing and accurate expenditure recording.
- Work collaboratively within a finance team to ensure services are delivered professionally, accurately and on time.
- Support continuous improvement across operational business processes, promoting best practices, facilitating change, and ensuring robust internal financial controls.

Our client are looking for someone who has the ability and confidence to manage their own workload and also work well as part of a team. In addition, you will possesses excellent IT skills, including Excel, alongside experience in providing management information.
