Advantage Resourcing are supporting a globally recognised entertainment management company based in the Biggin Hill area who are seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer to join their IT Infrastructure team.

This role would perfectly suit an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in VMware. The key duties will be to commission and maintain the operational IT infrastructure at fixed, event, cloud, co-located and remote sites. This positionwill involve global travel to support events and lead IT operational systems.

**The Requirements**
- Extensive VMware engineering and administration skills
- Hands on Hardware configuration and installation
- Microsoft Server and Desktop O/S knowledge
- SQL Database management and deployments
- AD, Group Policy, DNS
- Ability to lead projects from concept to delivery
- Ability to produce and update Technical Documentation

**The Overview**
- £50k - £55k p.a depending on experience
- Full time Permanent role
- International travel on an adhoc basis
- Progression potential

**The Role**
- Commission and maintain any Test and Development systems and services that support the operational IT systems and services.
- Manage and maintain IT systems from development through staging to production.
- Build and deploy VMware platforms across multiple servers.
- To project manage appropriate changes and additions to the IT operational infrastructure.
- Liaise with equipment and software vendors to specify maintenance contracts and SLA's. Ensuring these contracts are fit for purpose, relevant and in-place.
- Provide and maintain an adequate disaster recovery / business continuity plan for the operational systems.
- Assist with and emergency staff planning and provisioning.
