**Digital Forensic Investigator | Mobile Type Devices**

**Location: Police HQ, Northallerton**

**Contract: Permanent, Full Time**

**Salary: £23,817-£31,725**

**Number of Posts: x2 Vacancies**

The role will also include providing advice and support to operational colleagues on mobile device forensics and emerging technologies, providing scientific technical evidence and also attend court, when required.

Crime scene attendance for the purpose of triaging devices, assisting investigators with interviews, file presentation, attending case conferences, meetings and workshops will also form part of the role requirement.

The person we are seeking will be a motivated and dedicated individual with the following skills and experience:

- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to organise and prioritise
- Previous investigative experience
- A degree in Digital Forensics or Computer Science (or equivalent experience) would be preferred, although not essential.
