We have a comprehensive understanding of this challenging but highly rewarding sector, this enable us to place the most suitable candidates with clients and find the best opportunities for candidates.We are advertising this fantastic opportunity onbehalf of a local authority in South Tyneside who are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker to be part of the Adults Mental Health team working with adults 18-67 years and supporting the AMHP's.Job Responsibilities: Implementing and managing care packagesThe team are responsible for the statutory functions of the Mental Health Act 1983 Carrying a complex caseload, undertake safeguarding investigations and support the AMHP's Undertake capacity, best interest decisions and COP DOL applications including 21 AChallenges Carry out Care Act 2014 assessments Carry out MCA assessments Undertake Section 42 enquires Carry out the best level of care and services for the benefit of the service user Requirement to attend face to face visits as and when required Manage caseloadsdischarged from hospitals Liaise with other services for the best interest of the service userCandidate Requirements: Degree in relevant professional or equivalent qualification e.g. Certificate of Qualification in Social Work or Diploma in Social Work.
