**The Systems Administrator Team Lead is a pivotal role within our SaaS and Cloud Managed Services Team.

Although hands on technical skills are not a strict requirement for this role, a good understanding of technical concepts and best practices will be important as the team consists of technical resources such as Oracle DBAs and Unix engineers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overall ownership of performance, planning, co-ordination and training for the team.
- Ensure incidents and problems are managed to successful conclusion within SLA targets.
- Ensure appropriate and effective communication is maintained with the customer and internal stakeholders, displaying professionalism at all times.
- Ensure that appropriate levels of resource are available to provide the optimum service at all times in accordance with contractual obligations and company commitments.
- Define and review key performance indicators and ensure performance is monitored and understood.
- Hold regular 1-2-1 sessions with team members, set development targets, monitor progress and drive personal development across the team.
- Create & maintain high level management information data to report on team’s performance.
- Assist financial planning and reporting for Tech Services team.
- Drive continual improvement practices for the team and for all key processes and reoccurring work.
- Ensure the teams processes and procedures are documented, understood and updated frequently

- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Experience of managing senior technical resources
- Experience of 24/7/365 incident management and major incident management
- Proven track record of managing / organising a team to complete complex long term projects
- Experience in defining, implementing and tracking KPIs across a team
- Experience in capacity planning & forecasting resource requirements
- Experience in setting objectives & creating training and development plans
- Background/experience in Managed Services offerings
- Experience of outsourced team management
- Experience of working with or knowledge of public cloud environments
