On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Procurement Advisor (Inside IR35) for a 5 month contract based in Flintshire initially everyday (potential to become Hybrid later).

The work really matters; the MOD offers a range of engaging roles which have a direct impact on the quality of services they provide, in many locations across the UK. We support teams working in HR, Primary Health Care, Corporate Services, and many others.
**As a Procurement Advisor, your main responsibilities will be**:

- Support Commercial Managers with procurement tasks, including financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, and administrative duties.
- Assist in market analysis and supplier research to inform commercial strategies.
- Contribute to the development of procurement plans, sourcing strategies, and contracting approaches.
- Participate in end-to-end procurement processes, from tendering to contract management.
- Maintain accurate records, manage data, and prepare reports on commercial performance.
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and contribute to policy-aligned sourcing decisions.

**Essential**:

- Strong understanding of commercial principles, public sector procurement regulations, and hands-on experience supporting tenders via CCS Frameworks.
- Skilled in managing workload, prioritising tasks, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with experience in end-to-end sourcing and a commitment to completing TPP e-training.

**Desirable**:

- CIPS
- Jaggaer or CP & F experience
