Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to their designated locations. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting.
**Responsibilities**:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including vans and trucks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job
- Require Full UK Driving License for a minimum of 3 years.
Note: This is a paid position.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 60 per week
