Quality Inspector

T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch for a Quality Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be required to ensure products meet Customer requirements prior to dispatch. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a small friendly business that has expanded over the years and is looking to add to theirteam.

**Quality Inspector Job Details;**
- Verify that completed product meets all customer requirements_
- Check completed products against internal document set to ensure build has been completed correctly, confirming any customer changes have been recorded as a minimum
- Visually inspect all boards to ensure build meets required IPC-A-610 class and condition is acceptable
- Reject any non-conforming boards for rectification and escalate any 'whole batch’ non conformances
- Ensure all records have been completed to QMS requirements_
- Confirm build pack has been fully completed
- If additional records are required (e.g. x-ray images, test results), ensure these have been recorded appropriately and are available either physically or electronically
- If any boards are rejected during final inspection, record failures and ensure rework activity is also recorded
- If any concessions or ECNs are contained within the document set, scan and file these in the relevant job folder, maintaining a hard copy
- Prepare Certificate of Conformity for completed units prior to dispatch_
- Generate a certificate of conformity and verify quantity of boards matches number of passing units
- Complete all records required and any KPI inputs as directed by the Quality Manager_
- Create FI pass/fail data base and prepare weekly & monthly KPI charts
- Carry out PCB BOM-Flicker Test and report the results
- Zero Ion Test after Washing

**Quality Inspector Person Specification;**
- Previous experience within a Quality Inspection Electronics industry is preferred however not essential as full training will be given
- A good eye for detail is required
- Ability to follow drawings and complete paperwork
