- Proven experience in a customer focused/sales environment
- Ability to communicate and influence
- Ability to work within a team locally and nationally
- Knowledge of the industry preferred but not essential
- Proficient MS Office skills

**What will I be doing in the role?**

Our Sales Assistants are important contributors to the performance of the business and to ensure our customers have a positive experience with us. As part of an internal sales team, you will be expected to build relationships and develop sales opportunities with internal/external customers and suppliers. To support our customers effectively you will:

- Continuously look for opportunities to improve product and industry knowledge
- Follow up quotes and process customer orders
- Ensure that the branch is the best provider of customer service locally and nationally as defined by the customer
