Ruby's Bakery was founded in 2007 to satisfy a growing demand for traditional and contemporary high quality products. The bakery is SALSA certified and rated 5 out of 5 by food trading standards and provides sweet treats to the UK.

Ruby’s Bakery Ltd is growing and has some exciting opportunities for a Cake Production & Baking Operative, to join our busy cake factory team in Burgess Hill, Mid Sussex. We have full time hours available to fill immediately.

There may also be opportunity for overtime on weekends as well as during the week and extended working hour programmes available.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Setting up production area, including use of industrial machines such as depositors and mixers.
- Accurate weighing and mixing ingredients for multiple recipes.
- Depositing via machine and hand scaling products ready for baking
- Baking products using industrial deck and rack ovens with multiple temperature formats
- Depositing via machine and hand scaling products ready for baking
- Dismantling and cleaning machines, work surfaces and utensils
- Monitoring stock levels of raw ingredients

**Physical Demands**:
This job operates in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role routinely uses machinery. _**To perform this job you must be physically fit and able to lift 20kgs**_. Please be aware this job contains a lot of bending down and lifting.
