We are looking for someone to provide comprehensive, efficient administrative support to the service. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have good people skills, are not easily flustered when challenged and feel comfortable talking to a wide range of service users with different needs.
Half of the role will involve a large amount of speaking to service users and other professionals on the phone and acting as both a sign-poster and first point of contact. With this in mind we need someone confident who can make a really positive first impression and welcome people into our service. The other half of the role will be predominantly based around the production and logistics of prescriptions for our service users; this means you will need a good level of IT and an understanding of spreadsheets.
**About the job**
You will be part of our services support team, providing an all round adminstration and reception service including secretarial and data related tasks. There will also be prescriptions to prepare ready for our clinical team to sign and distribute.
**REQUIRED SKILLS**:
To do this job successfully, you will need:
- experience of providing great admin support in a busy environment
- the abillity to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- to be confident working in a team environment, able to work collaboratively with everyone
- a good level of maths and english (verbal and written)
- to be organised, able to manage and prioritise you time and deal with changing and conflicting demands with ease
- a keen desire in personal and professional development
- good analytical skills with an eye for detail
- the strong ability to work under pressure effectively
- a can do, result-driven and positive attitude
- good IT skills, including database management and be comfortable using digital media and a desire to develop your IT skills
- experience working with Google sheets/Excel
- to understand work based Health & Safety issues
- some flexibility with working hours and location from time to time
This role requires a satisfactory Standard level DBS certificate as part of our safeguarding checks process.
