At Twinkl Scotland, we pride ourselves on creating quality teaching and learning resources for all ages and stages of Scottish education. From ELC, through Primary and now into Secondary, we aim to provide content that engages learners and builds a community that supports Scottish educators in getting it right for every child.

As Marketing Assistant you’ll be responsible for helping to maintain and develop Twinkl Scotland’s thriving online community. Your time will be spent creating video content for our social media platforms to engage and grow these communities. You will have a good understanding of teaching and learning in Scotland and will be able to use this knowledge to create engaging video content that provides educators with inspiration on how to use our CfE resources in new and innovative ways.

The Twinkl Scotland team is made up of content writers, editors, designers, illustrators, and our marketing team. We are a friendly and welcoming team who put innovation and supporting Scottish educators at the forefront of everything we do.

Your weekly activity could include:

- Creating daily video content for our social media platforms
- Interacting with customers on social media platforms, being the voice of Twinkl Scotland and offering advice and support where needed
- Developing innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and projects
- Creating original social media content to support our new Play Based learning product for Primary education
- Spotting trends within the Scottish market and beyond, and being able to respond quickly to make the most of these trends
- Grow social media channels by increasing engagement and followers
- Scheduling content for publishing
- Gathering insights from our community to share with your team

**Requirements**:
We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following:

- Experience working with Facebook, Instagram and TikTok,
- Comfortable being in front of the camera across social media platforms
- Classroom experience desirable, especially in Scotland
- Experience as a content creator/influencer with successfully grown and maintained social media channels
- An awareness of social media trends, Scottish culture, and what makes educators interact with a page
- Be a fantastic communicator who thrives when working in a close-knit team
- Have excellent spelling and grammar
- Be passionate about using social media to create strong and supportive communities
- Be able to work under own initiative with minimum supervision but also as part of a team
- Be organised and adaptive, able to work to tight deadlines and manage your time effectively
- Be able to spot and execute opportunities consistently - each and every day
