Our client is well known reputable, stable and growing industrial Manufacturing establishment.

The business have been financially stable during the pandemic.

Now seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Frome to join the team providing reactive and pre planned maintenance to all plant machinery.

**Qualifications / Experience Required**:

- Apprentice Trained Mechanical or Multi Skilled Maintenance
- Heavy fitting, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Gears Motors experience (Essential)
- Industrial Manufacturing background (Essential)
- Electrical understanding

Ideally suiting an individual who can bring a strong understanding and experience of heavy mechanical maintenance skills complete with the enthusiasm and drive to continue to push the standards forward.
This site is a heavy industrial manufacturing process, engineers must be comfortable with this environment additionally must have experience with fitting of heavy equipment and machinery components.

**The role**:

- Support the Area Engineering Manager to deliver the engineering strategy that will develop and drive reliability, improve quality, Safety and asset utilisation.
- Work with the Engineering team/Production Team to deliver production plans, service levels & engineering strategy within quality, safety and cost parameters
- Support the Area Engineering Manager to Implement & deliver the engineering strategy that will develop and drive reliability, improve quality, Safety and asset utilisation.
- Implement best practice maintenance principles
- Supports the engineering planning process that proactively manages and maintains manufacturing assets at site
- Supports the implementation of a PPM system that improves asset reliability and better utilises engineering resources
- Develop Engineering solutions that push manufacturing processes and boundaries to meet current and future business requirements.
