Our client is the largest of its kind in Europe and the fasted growing in the world. As part of a European wide HR and Finance Transformation programme, they have implemented an HR/Payroll system called Ceridian Dayforce. It is currently in the UK and beingrolled out in other countries in clusters.

They are now looking for a Test Analyst to work as part of a close-knit team within the IT Department to support the System as they continue to expand their use of the Dayforce Product.

**Responsibilities**:
The Test Analyst will be responsible for testing of both regular releases/upgrades of the software as well as monthly releases of changes and improvements to the configuration of the system. In addition, there may be a requirement to support on regressiontesting as the system is rolled out to additional countries.

**Duties**:

- Executing test plans, test cases and test scripts and ensuring successful completion of these
- Reviewing business requirement specifications to develop test plans
- Deriving test cases and test scripts based on requirements
- Creation of test data to support the test plans
- Working with business analyst to derive overall regression scope
- Manual test execution, regression testing, defect tracking and defect closure

Person Specification/Competencies:

- Five or more years’ experience in a manual testing role
- Prior Business System Testing experience; experience of the payroll industry, financial systems, and web-based systems are a significant advantage
- The ability to work to firm timescales, and manage your own work schedule
- A passion for technology and an inquisitive mind to dig into how things work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Professional software testing experience gained through exposure to the full development lifecycle
- Have certified industry recognised qualification such as ISTQB Foundation Level

The role is predominantly remote. Ideally you will be able to get to the Bristol Office 1 day per week but a couple of times per month is fine.
