**Main Purpose**:
To oversee and support the delivery of safe, effective of contract maintenance activity. Provide technical support, supervision and mentoring to both the onshore delivery team and offshore residents in relation to all maintenance activities. Responsible for assuring maintenance delivery to the highest of standards with a real focus on continuous improvement.

**Main Responsibilities**:
Maintenance Delivery Focal Point for the Oil & Gas Maintenance Contracts, improving the following areas:

- Setting standards and expectations on how maintenance is planned and supported by Contract Support Engineers, Engineers team and delivered by offshore crews.
- Setting standards and expectations for offshore crews to follow from introduction at pre-mob briefs to validation of maintenance execution on offshore assets.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the contract delivery team in delivering on client and Sparrows expectations of right first time maintenance delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to all offshore flying squad supervisors and technicians in delivering on client and Sparrows expectations of right first time maintenance delivery.
- Promote Engineering compliance, verification and Readiness for all maintenance activities. Ensure work scopes are planned correctly and executed in accordance with Sparrows Engineering processes.
- Support the creation of detailed implementation schedules for all maintenance activities.
- Get actively involved in work pack and work scope procedural development, review and formalisation for use in delivering maintenance across the Shell assets.
- Lead by example by adopting a continuous improvement attitude towards our maintenance execution and delivery - is it right? Implement detailed reviews of process and procedures and amend and optimise as required utilising formal process and engagement with FMECA team.
- Complete maintenance audits across the client assets to witness and confirm maintenance delivery standards are being completed as per expectations.
- Lead After Action Reviews (AAR’s) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) where maintenance has not been delivered right 1st time to ensure lessons learned are captured to mitigate recurrence.
- Identify training needs of offshore core crews to enhance the overall skill set of these employees in delivering the contract
- Interface with all internal client Contract personnel and the wider Sparrows support organisation in delivering a complete and comprehensive Maintenance Management Service.
- Interface with internal and external clients to ensure a professional service is always provided in a timely fashion.

Contributing to the **development of new systems, procedures and initiatives** specifically in offshore projects.
- Taking part in the team and planning meetings.
- Contributing to special meetings and working parties.
- Liaising directly with service heads.
- On a day-to-day basis, identifying necessary process and business improvements and taking steps to implement same.
- Participating in knowledge sharing of best practices between colleagues.

Taking an active part in **promoting an excellent safety culture** by:

- Leading and participating in Safety engagement forums
- Setting an example at all times of the correct safety behaviours.
- Letting it be known at every opportunity that safety is a prime concern and people will be given every support for stopping unsafe jobs.
- Seeking the advice from time to time of the HSEQ Rep. and supporting the roll out of safety initiatives.
- Following all Sparrows Group safety rules and procedures including reporting of accidents immediately to the Operations Director/HSEQ Rep.
- Delivery of HSEQ plan actions and initiatives.

Undertaking any other reasonable and legitimate duties assigned by Operations Director/Manager.

**Skills / Qualifications**:

- Suitable offshore experience to support the job requirements
- Adequate onshore Engineering experience to support the job requirements
