We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients maintain optimal oral health. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. You will work once a week or every two weeks. GDC registration is a must. SALARY 40%
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations to assess patients' oral health
- Take and develop dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic health records
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health principles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 4 per week
