_Ellis Mason_ have the pleasure of recruiting a **LOGISTICS ASSISTANT ** for a small but growing business based in Baldock.

The role would sort someone who has some basic shipping experience, who is perhaps looking for their next role where they can grow and take on more responsibility.Equally, the company will look at bright education leavers who are interested in a rewardingcareer.

THE SALARY & BENEFITS
- Permanent, full time basis.
- Salary is dependent on experience but £22,000 - £24,000 (contact us if close to this but a little more)
- Bright, modern offices with on-site parking.
- 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
- Government standard pension
- Monday to Friday based position - 37.5 hours 8.30am to 5pm

THE JOB
The main duties included within the role of the**LOGISTICS ASSISTANT**, are:

- Managing the day to day shipping requirements
- Completion of all relevant paperwork and documentation
- Managing inventory and stock levels
- Ensuring that each item is picked and packaged effectively before completing the shipping process
- Updating internal records with any new information
- Managing incoming packages
- Communicating with couriers/shipping companies to coordinate shipments
