As Commercial Administrator, you are responsible for the administration of product sales and product service sales. This includes but is not limited to;
- Creation of sales orders
- Sales order confirmations
- Invoicing
- Credit notes
- Credit Returns
- Payment processing
- Sales order backlog reports
- Sales revenue reports, and more.

The Commercial Administrator will support the Commercial team and collaborate on the processing of customer orders and account management activity.

This will include direct engagement with customers to support sales and account inquiries.

Lead and champion commercial administration and related processes to deliver business objectives.

Collaborate with the wider Cosworth organization, including Finance, Operations, and Engineering, to support customer needs.

Champion the use of SAP within Cosworth, specifically focused on the commercial-related processes. The scope includes continuous improvement in defining commercial-related processes and solutions in SAP. Coaching and mentoring of the Commercial team in SAP related skills and processes.

**The Role**:

- Working with the Commercial, Operations and Finance teams, and directly with customers to ensure accurate loading, scheduling and fulfilment of customer sales orders using SAP.
- Responsible for the efficient processing of sales orders and invoicing, plus related tasks maintaining commercial activity in SAP.
- Management and processing of OEM Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system sales orders.
- Comply with business, commercial and finance processes and champion the use of SAP system across the business.
- Manage the general sales inbox and telephone enquiries providing quotations, lead times and distributing sales leads within the Commercial team.
- Manage the Open Order Book, running weekly order book review meetings and supporting to Director level the compilation and distribution of weekly report of sales and outlook.
- Support Finance with customer payments and account queries.
- Assist in the processing of customer payments and transactions.
- Provide support in management and coordination of returns and service/repair items.
- Compiling and distributing reports as required to support business objectives.
- Continuously develop the commercial processes to meet the market and customer needs.
- Assist Commercial team to achieve agreed objectives for customer satisfaction and business growth ensuring Cosworth is the supplier of choice regarding electronics supply.
- Be the example of best practice in our high performance commercial team.
- Support sales planning aligned with business objectives, supporting financial and production planning.
- A strong commercial or customer service background supporting a sales/commercial team.
- High level of competency and experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Enthusiastic, demonstrates attention to detail and can work effectively across functions/departments.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Passion for commercial success and engaging/liaising with customers.
- Essential:_
- GCSE A-C grades including English and Maths or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar role.
- Desirable:_
- Educated to A-level, NVQ Business Administration or equivalent.
- Critical Success Factors:_
- Timely processing of sales orders and invoices.
- Continuous improvement of commercial and sales processes, tools and training, with a focus on SAP related responsibilities.
- Work is completed to a high standard, with focus on quality, accuracy and customer satisfaction.
