Starting salary of £25,000 per annum with room for progression
Acorn is working with a metal pressing company, who predominantly supply into the automotive industry as well as others for a Quality Technician in Pontardawe.
Working hours for the post are:

- Monday - Thursday: 07:45 - 16:45
- Friday: 07:45 - 12:45
Job Duties:

- Carry out product tests and thorough independent final inspection of finished assemblies to defined procedures, formally reporting all defects
- Responsible for checking, progressing and collating accurate build and inspection records
- Provide technical support in the areas of machine pre-delivery inspection, Goods Inwards, and Production line
- Inspection and auditing of all components and all stages of the manufacturing process
- Investigate any quality issues to identify root cause and raise appropriate corrective action paperwork and ensure issues are addressed and resolved
Key Skills / Experiences:

- Commitment to work towards professional accreditation with an Industry related body
- Previous manufacturing experience would be advantageous
- Experience of working in Quality Assurance
- Awareness of six sigma techniques
