**The Role**

This new role is an exciting opportunity to assist in the continued growth and development of the finance function within Marks Electrical. Working closely with the Company accountants, the successful applicant will assist in the processing and refinement of administrative duties. The role will require high attention to detail and a drive to continue with the improvement of processes within the function.

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm.

You will initially directly report to the Head of Financial Reporting and be responsible for:
**Sales Invoicing**
- Processing sales invoicing daily for the previous days’ deliveries.

**Barclays Finance**
- Processing payments received from Barclays Finance and allocating payments to the corresponding sales invoices and credit memos, ensuring finance subsidies are added.

**Purchase Invoicing**

**CIH Invoicing**
- Monitoring and processing outstanding CIH invoices daily through picklist onto Everest, tracking any price or quantity discrepancies as necessary.

**CIH Remittances**
- Ensuring all invoices are processed and all Debit Orders are converted into Debit Memos.
- Create payments in Everest that reconcile back to the remittance raised by the accounts department.

**Price/Qty Queries**
- Assisting with purchase invoice discrepancies. Communicating these with manufacturers and subsequently making claims. Monitoring the price and quantity query claims workbook and following up with the various manufacturers where a response has not been received.

**Refunds**
- Assisting in the monitoring & processing of outstanding customer refunds to ensure customers are refunded in a timely manner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
