Neighbourhood Coordinator Midlands

**About the Role**
We are currently looking for two Neighbourhood Coordinators who will be responsible for delivering an engaging and full housing management service to our tenants. This role can be both rewarding and challenging with a multitude of competing priorities. Which includes, rent arrears visits, sign-ups, voids, complaints, customer engagement meetings, safeguarding, compliance checks, tenancy reviews, partnership working and meetings with statutory agencies such as the police, social services and local councils and representing Habinteg at court attendance for possession or ASB cases, with supporting legal representation where needed.
The Neighbourhood Coordinators will share responsibility for the patch of approximately 144 properties. This role involves a lot of lone working although part of a small local team supervised by the Neighbourhood Manager. You will be expected to achieve stretching and ambitious targets in all KPI areas, attend mandatory training with a commitment to working with our tenants as part of our tenant engagement strategy which is key to Habinteg’s success. You will help promote the recruitment of and work closely with tenant representatives, tenant groups and various other independent departments such as finance, HR, assets and income and allocations.
**About You**
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in a similar housing management position, such as support worker, housing assistant, housing officer or have other professional or personal demonstratable transferable skills that you feel will compliment you in this role.
You will be passionate about helping others and comfortable working with people in their homes. Be able to maintain professional boundaries when carrying out your duties and tasks prioritising your busy workload to achieve the right balance of tenant support versus being an employee of a landlord that has statutory duties and responsibilities to meet.
You should be a self-sufficient solution focused person committed to meeting your objectives and your continuous personal development.
Working with your manager and colleagues you will ensure your patch and regional KPIs are met. As in all roles we are looking for someone who is a team player willing to help cover for colleague absences and sharing of busy workloads.
You must be computer literate with experience of using in house housing management systems, Microsoft office including office 365 and good written and verbal communication skills.
