**Compliance and Auditing Officer required for Permanent position based in the Middlewich area**

**Your Shift Pattern**:

- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 to 18:00 (Shift times will vary)
- 1 hour lunch

**Your Salary**
- Between £36,000 - £39,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

**Your Role**:

- Conducting a minimum of two scheduled audits per Brit European driver per year
- Effective recording, analysis and actioning of all audit data
- Management of all tachograph data relating to EU drivers’ hour and working time
- Corrective training of any drivers creating tachograph infringements
- Ensuring that drivers operate to Group safe systems of work and Customer specific requirements
- Conducting all drug and alcohol testing within the Group
- Conducting first line speed management

**What we need from you**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of EU drivers’ hours and the working time directive.
- Previous experience of third-party tachograph management systems would be an advantage.
- Proficient in the operation of Microsoft Office software, be capable and efficient communicators, time managers and be able to meet strict targets and KPIs.
- Effective evaluation and decision-making skills.
- Experience in auditing and statutory compliance.
- Ideally have a transport industry background.
