**Production Operator Vacancy**

**Salary**:Incremental Salary Scale (£9.50 - £12.00 per hour) + shift allowance
**Location**:Newton Aycliffe

**Unit 2 Hours: Monday - Friday **(Day Shift - 07:00 - 15:00, Late Shift - 15:00 - 23:00,
Night Shift - 23:00 - 07:00)

**Unit 3 Hours: Monday - Sunday Continental Shift System** (Day Shift: 06:00 - 18:00,
Nigh Shift 18:00 - 06:00)

**Senstronics** Ltd is an acknowledged leader in the design, development and production of a high stability range of pressure sensing products.

We are seeking a number of production operators to join our assembly and processing units. The roles provide the opportunity to develop within the role, following the successful completion of a 6-month probation period, for which an incremental salary scale is applied.

The role will contribute to the processing, build, assembly and calibration of products to achieve output targets, whilst focusing on quality and seeking opportunities for improvement.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

**Operational**

1. Contribute to the efficient and accurate assembly of components, as directed by the relevant work stations within Unit 2 and Unit 3.

2. Load and un-load components and/or tools within a work cell.
3. Monitor the progress of calibration and sort the components according to the result of the programme.
4. Component assembly, machine welding, testing, part labelling and visual inspection.
5. Ensure production/processing is completed within the required targets without compromising on quality or standards.
6. Perform routine set-up checks of processes and tools.
7. Conduct processes with an understanding of the impact of scrap and wastage.
8. Inputting data into spreadsheets and recording results.
9. Achieve targets without compromising on quality or standards.
10. Liaise with key personnel across different departments to support the continuous improvement programme, including raising product issues and quality concerns.
11. Participate in training as instructed by Team Leaders.
